Is it probable that I have thrush?

For over a month now it has been painful during sex, the pain being nearer the entrance and around the entrance of the vagina, and the pain being a stinging/burning sensation. I have been given thrush cream by my doctor as she said it was worth a try, she did not look at it she just went by my symptoms. I just wanted to mention that I have a fungal toe infection too which I've had for about a year now probably, I hadn't realised it was a fungal infection for a while because I always keep my toenails painted a dark colour and at first thought it might just be a bruise or leftover nailvarnish, but I have been attempting to treat it over the last few months. I also had what is called Pityriasis Rosea, a harmless skin rash that lasted about 6 weeks and is apparently caused by a fungal infection. So is it very probable that I have thrush after all these fungal infections? I've just scared myself silly with all the websites saying that women can't have sex with their partners because it hurts too much and they've gone months without sex, I just don't want that to be me!
