Should I go to this party?

I recently got a new boyfriend who is absolutly amazing and adores me. hes invited me to multiple events in public areas and at his home. he lives in Springfield which is about an hour from my home. And ive never met him before. We met over a coincidence, but im not going to bore you with the story. Anyway, hes 14 and im almost 13 in a month. I have seen three photos of him and im positive hes not a pervert. Im even friends with him on facebook and i have checked everything out. I AM POSITIVE HE IS SAFE. Anyway his father sells fireworks and every year they have a party at his grandmothers with the leftover fireworks from their tents. So basically my question is should i go? ive been avoiding seeing him because Im afraid it would be awkward and i would do something wrong because he is my first serious boyfriend. so should I go? Thanks in advance. And btw,, if you would like to leave a rude comment go ahead. But all im asking for is some help. Its not like its going to hurt me.
